Where is Durack heading in the future?
In early 2013, Durack was nationally recognised by winning the Excellence in Industry Promotion Award by the Transport & Logistics Industry Skills Council (TLISC) for an Aboriginal training program delivered at the BCMI.
This was closely followed by winning the 2013 WA Training Initiative at the WA Training Awards later in the year in Perth for the same program. Durack has regularly become a finalist in the West Australian Large Training Provider Awards over the past five years.
Benjamin Baytala - one of Durack’s bricklaying apprentices, became a finalist in the Apprentice of the Year Award. Similarly Natasha Farr - a science graduate, won the WA Vocational Student of the Year Award and went on to represent WA at the Australian Training Awards.
