Traineeships. Generally a traineeship is a structured program for 12 months or more on a full time or part time basis. A trainee gains work experience with an employer and has the opportunity to learn new skills in a hands on environment. Traineeships can help you decide on a career as nearly all training is provided on the job.

Apprenticeships. Generally an apprenticeship is a structured program of 4 years that leads you to becoming a qualified tradesperson. The majority of the training takes place on the job with an employer but you will also be required to do blocks of off the job training at the campus.
