The Batavia Coast Maritime Institute (BCMI) campus is a state of the art training, research and development facility located on the oceanfront of the picturesque Separation Point in Geraldton. Opening in 2006 after ten years of planning and development, BCMI has positioned itself as a world class aquaculture, marine and environmental science research and training facility. BCMI offers courses up to diploma level in aquaculture, laboratory science, conservation & land management, marine and environmental science, as well as maritime qualifications from recreational skipper’s tickets to Master <35m (previously Master IV).

The BCMI has implemented a number of award winning programs and produced three WA vocational Student of the Year award winners. Our wide range of partnerships and collaborations allows the integration of industry, research and education throughout a broad range of fields, attracting students both locally and internationally.
