Durack Institute of Technology is a statutory authority delivering vocational education and training. The current responsible Minister is the Minister for Health, Training and Workforce Development.
The Governing Council oversees the strategic and overall direction of the Institute through the execution of its statutory functions. The Governing Council is made up of representatives of industry and the community.
All members are appointed by the Minister for Training and Workforce Development and have been selected for their experience and expertise in education, training, industry or community affairs, and for their ability to contribute to the strategic direction of the Institute.
Our Managing Director is the Chief Executive Officer and is supported by a Corporate Executive.
Our Corporate Executive has overall responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the Institute and undertakes strategic planning for the future direction of the Institute. The team consists of the Managing Director, Director of Corporate Services, Director of Training and Director of Organisational Services.
