Diploma Students Graduate In Style

24 November 2015

Durack Institute of Technology is celebrating the graduation of students in its Diploma of Visual Art qualification.

In 2015, selected students have undertaken training to complete the qualification, the result of which will be shown at an upcoming free public art exhibition.

The Aboriginal Learning Centre at Durack’s Geraldton street campus will showcase the exhibit on Friday 27 November with the official opening by Durack’s Managing Director Bill Swetman at 6:30pm.

“We’ve named this celebration, Illuminarty - The Grad Show because it is a celebration of the 12 month journey of artistic practice and hard work”, Durack’s Art Coordinator Lexie Lazenby said.

“The artwork on show is polished, innovative and offers a glimpse into the professional future for our graduates.”
