2010 Regional Achievement & Community Awards

Durack Institute of Technology has reached the semi finals for the LandCorp Sustainability Award, Curtin University Teaching Excellence Award (Amanda Silvester, Education Lecturer) and the Water Corporation Water Conservation Award in the 2010 Regional Achievement and Community Awards.

Durack Institute of Technology has been shortlisted from a strong field from which the finalists will be chosen on 29th September.

Finalists will be presented at an Awards Gala Presentation Dinner to be held at the Perth Convention Exhibition Centre on Friday 12th November 2010. The winners will be announced on the night and will each receive a $2,000 AwardSaver Account from the Commonwealth Bank and a trophy.

Win Television will show an Audio Visual profile on each finalist whilst being presented on stage in what will be a glittering affair.

Official guest for the evening is the Hon Brendan Grylls MLA, Minister for Regional Development with over 400 guests from across the State expected. All community members are invited to share this special occasion.

The Awards aim to encourage, acknowledge and reward the valuable contribution businesses, individuals and community groups make in their local regional communities.
