CSPA Assessment

Cores Skills Profile for Adults Assessment (CSPA)

Major changes to VET FEE-HELP legislation affects all Diploma students wanting to access the loan scheme in 2016. You now need to demonstrate your academic suitability before a loan can be granted.

If you cannot provide a copy of your Senior Secondary Certificate of Education from an agency or authority of an Australian State or Territory for the completion of year 12, you will need to attain an “Exit Level 3” in the Australian Core Skills Framework (ACSF) assessment test in reading and numeracy using the Commonwealth approved testing tool, Core Skills Profile for Adults (CSPA).

About the Assessment

There are three components to the assessments: Practice, Reading and Numeracy. There is no time limit set for the assessments. Go to the ACER website for more information on the CSPA.

  • Takes an average of 10 minutes to complete this test and is not assessed.
